I am an academic librarian at the Department of Old and Rare Books Collection (Sekcja Starych Druków) in the University Library in Poznań.

01.04.2012-31.03.2013 I have been employed at the Alpen-Adria-Universitaet in Klagenfurt (Austria); awarded by FWF - Lise-Meitner Program); project  (together with prof. Sabine Seelbach): Late Medieval Ars Memorativa Treatises from Central Europe in Social, Cultural, and Historical Contexts.

My main fields of interest include "ars memorativa", medieval mnemonic aids, history of books and printing, marginal and autobiographical notes in early printed calendars (Ephemerides/Almanacs), medieval literature of Polish Observants, and Polish apocrypha (Vita Christi - Żywot Pana Jezu Krysta by Baltazar Opec).

Since 2008 I have been also a custodian of the Comics Collection, first in Polish academic libraries. I deal with organizing workshops, conferences and exhibitions about comics and cartoons.

I was born in Koszalin in 1975. I got my M.A. from Greek and Latin philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in 1999 and Ph.D. in Literary Studies at the same place in 2005. Since 1999 I have been employed in the Department of Old and Rare Books Collection.
